Rankin's CC was founded in 1881. Our picturesque ground "Broomhills" is situated in Stambridge Road, Rochford opposite the Cherry Tree Public House.
In the 2010 season we will have three teams which compete on Saturdays in the Mid Essex League, a Sunday team, Warsop 20/20 Midweek side and a Southend Evening League team. We also have a number of friendly fixtures and are running a cricket tour to the Isle of Wight in June 2010. There will also be a cricket week at our ground in the last week of August. We welcome fixtures against touring teams.
Rankins CC has a thriving colts section which started in 2007. We run teams at U9, U11, U13 & U15 age groups and have ECB qualified coaching staff within the club. Rankin's is recognised by the ECB as a child friendly club and has been awarded Clubmark and Focus Club status.
New members to all teams are welcome from all sexes, abilities and backgrounds. Check out the youth section on the website for more details about colt’s cricket.
